Friends and Members of the FIP,

During Advent we are reminded to “remain vigilant at all times” (Lk 21:36) for the coming of the Lord. Let us pray that together we make the time and space for Jesus to be reborn in our hearts.

Two brief notices:

Elections- Romeoville, 2012

Due to a technical mistake in the vote count, and after a long dialogue with the Board to resolve the issue, the elections for Treasurer had to be annulled. Therefore, we saw fit to re-solicit the services of Sr. Sonia Avi, who responded favorably. We thank God that it came together in the best way possible according to what is allowed by the current FIP bylaws.

Annual Meeting- Las Vegas, 2013

I inform you that our 2013 FIP annual meeting will be the Joint Meeting with NCAHHDM NCCHM and from the 26th to 28th of August in Las Vegas. We will give more details as soon as the planning commission gives us their reports. So, we must 'save the date' and prepare to participate and take advantage of this great national event!

I join you in prayer asking God for the graces necessary to 'remain vigilant at all times' this Advent that we almost conclude.
